Indore, Madhya Pradesh – True champions are not defined by medals alone, but by the courage to rise after every setback. Coach Amay Lashkari, founder of ALET Sports Academy, exemplifies this spirit, turning personal challenges into a mission to empower India’s youth through sports.
A Dream Born in Dwarkapuri
From Dwarkapuri, Indore, Amay envisioned a sports academy that would cultivate champions of skill, discipline, and character. His dedication was so unwavering that he sold his own car to pursue training in Fencing, one of the world’s costliest martial arts disciplines, demonstrating his relentless commitment to nurturing young talent.
Rising Above Challenges
Even while battling sciatica paralysis, Amay continued mentoring students, shaping them into future coaches to ensure his knowledge and vision endured.
Life tested him further when some of his own students claimed credit for his work, saying:
“We ran your classes while you only watched.”
Choosing dignity over confrontation, Amay walked away from his creation — a testament to his integrity and resilience.
Integrity Above All
When rivals asked him to abandon a young girl from the Valmiki community, Amay refused:
“No one ever gains by abandoning their mother. I will never leave what I built.”
Though former students became competitors, Amay’s principles remained unshakable.
A Second Chance and New Beginnings
Guided by his mentor Master Saeed Alam, who said:
“Even when the sun hides behind clouds, its light never fades. Your time will come,”
Amay embraced a new team in Mhow, including Devaraj Khode, the team captain, who believed only Amay could lead them to victory. Amay welcomed them, declaring:
“You played even when defeat was certain — just to be part of my team. For that, I accept you as my disciple.”
The Rebirth of ALET Sports Academy
From that moment, ALET Sports Academy was reborn — stronger, united, and dedicated to instilling discipline, dedication, and national pride in every student.
Today, the academy proudly announces that 20 players have been selected to represent Madhya Pradesh at the 21st National SBI Karate Championship 2025 in Kanyakumari.
A Legacy of Courage and Inspiration
From personal sacrifice to rebuilding his academy after betrayal, Coach Amay Lashkari has shown that true champions are defined by resilience, integrity, and the power to uplift others.
ALET Sports Academy is now more than a sports institution — it is a movement inspiring India’s youth to dream big, work hard, and achieve excellence through sports.
