Every great mission begins with a challenge. For Piyush Nagar, founder of Credit Samadhaan, the challenge was simple yet profound: millions of Indians were being denied financial opportunities because of poor credit scores. His journey from childhood struggles to leading an AI-driven financial revolution shows how resilience and innovation can change lives.
From Childhood Hardship to Entrepreneurial Spirit
At eight years old, Piyush lost his father and had to take responsibility for his education. Selling ice candies and taking up commission-based jobs, he learned early the value of perseverance.
Despite these challenges, he became an engineer and in 2009 founded Sixth Sense IT Solutions, a global IT company serving 4,000+ clients, including corporates, MNCs, and government organizations. Yet, a larger mission awaited him.
The Turning Point
While working with a rural fintech startup, Piyush discovered a startling reality:
-
Out of 1 lakh loan applications, nearly 99,300 were rejected
-
Over 70% of rejections were due to poor credit scores
Millions of hardworking Indians — farmers, entrepreneurs, and homebuyers — were being denied opportunities not because of lack of effort, but because of a number on their credit report.
This led Piyush to spend 1.5 years researching solutions, ultimately founding Credit Samadhaan, India’s first AI-powered Credit Score Rectification & Repair platform.
AI with a Human Touch
Credit Samadhaan repairs scores across CIBIL, Experian, Equifax, and CRIF, often within 45 days, using AI to make the process simple, fast, and transparent.
Piyush also launched Credit Samadhaan Kendras in 18 states, combining AI insights with human guidance. These centers not only repair credit scores but also create local employment opportunities, blending technology with social impact.
Tackling India’s Credit Crisis
The challenge is massive:
-
40% of home loan borrowers pay extra interest
-
80% of Kisan Credit Card applications are rejected
-
36% of small businesses are denied capital
-
31% of auto loans are rejected
-
Real estate loses $2.65B annually
-
Nearly 28 lakh CIBIL complaints filed in FY 2023–24
Credit Samadhaan addresses this crisis, providing financial access and dignity.

By combining AI technology with human empathy, Credit Samadhaan is not just repairing credit scores — it is transforming lives.
The Road Ahead
With support from IPV and national institutions, Credit Samadhaan is set to scale across India, ensuring that no dream is denied because of a poor credit score.
