IIM Calcutta Student’s Fall From Auto: Father Denies Rape Allegations

A concerning incident involving an IIM Calcutta student has taken a new turn. The student’s father has refuted initial rape allegations, claiming his daughter fell out of an auto-rickshaw.

Father Recounts the Incident

Speaking with reporters on Saturday, the father recounted the distressing call he received at 9:34 pm on Friday. He was informed that his daughter had fallen from an auto-rickshaw and lost consciousness. She was subsequently taken to SSKM Hospital’s neurology department by police who were at the scene.

Police Involvement and Ongoing Investigation

While the father denies any foul play, authorities are likely investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident to ensure student safety and clarify the sequence of events.
