Teen’s Bravery Thwarts Kidnapping Attempt in Thane, India

A 16-year-old girl demonstrated incredible courage and presence of mind, foiling a kidnapping attempt while on her way to school in Bhiwandi, Thane district, Maharashtra. She was traveling in an auto-rickshaw when the driver allegedly attempted to kidnap her.

Quick Thinking and Self-Defense

Thinking fast, the young girl used a geometry compass she had with her to defend herself. Attacking the driver with the compass, she managed to create an opportunity to escape.

A Leap to Safety

Seizing the moment, she bravely jumped out of the moving auto-rickshaw, escaping the clutches of her would-be kidnapper. The incident highlights the importance of self-defense and the incredible bravery that can be found even in the face of danger.
