Siddaramaiah Requests Delay of Sigandur Bridge Inauguration

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has formally requested Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, to postpone the scheduled inauguration of the Sigandur bridge. The ceremony, which was set for July 14th, also included the foundation stone laying for several infrastructure projects in Sagara taluk, Shivamogga.

CM Cites Lack of Prior Notice for Postponement Request

Siddaramaiah explained that the postponement request stems from a lack of prior intimation about the event. He indicated that adequate notice and coordination are necessary for the state government to participate fully and effectively in such important events.

Sigandur Bridge and Shivamogga Infrastructure Projects in Focus

The Sigandur bridge is a crucial infrastructure project for the region, and its inauguration has been eagerly awaited. The other planned infrastructure projects in Sagara taluk are also expected to significantly boost development in the Shivamogga district. The new date for the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremonies is yet to be announced.
