Following the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor, Banerjee dispatched a team to J&K to provide assistance to those affected by the shelling. Abdullah specifically thanked her for this compassionate gesture, highlighting the importance of her support during a difficult period for the region.

Strengthening Ties Between J&K and West Bengal

Extending a warm invitation to Banerjee to visit Jammu and Kashmir, Abdullah expressed his hope for increased collaboration between the two regions. He mentioned his own positive experiences as her guest in West Bengal and envisions stronger partnerships in trade, industrialization, and tourism between J&K and West Bengal.
