Kanwariyas Detained After Vandalizing Car in Uttarakhand Following Minor Accident

A peaceful religious journey took a violent turn during the Kanwar Yatra in Uttarakhand. Three Kanwariyas (devotees of Shiva) were detained by police in Haridwar’s Bahadrabad area after they allegedly vandalized a car following a minor accident.

Minor Collision Sparks Outburst

The incident began when a car reportedly grazed a group of Kanwariyas carrying holy water. While details surrounding the collision remain unclear, the Kanwariyas reacted angrily, allegedly resorting to vandalism and damaging the car.

Swift Police Action Leads to Detainment

Police swiftly arrived at the scene and took three of the involved Kanwariyas into custody. Further investigations are underway to determine the exact sequence of events and the extent of the damage.
