The death toll has tragically climbed to 91, with 34 individuals still missing and 130 injured. Rescue operations are in full swing, with the Army, NDRF, SDRF, ITBP, and Himachal Pradesh Police working tirelessly to locate survivors and provide relief to affected areas.

Continued Heavy Rainfall Predicted, Widespread Disruption Reported

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for continued bad weather in Himachal Pradesh, forecasting heavy to very heavy rainfall from July 11th to 16th. Many areas, including popular tourist destinations like Kasol, Jubbal, Manali, Shimla, Sujanpur Tira, Guler, Kasauli, and Solan, have experienced moderate to heavy rainfall. Dhaulakuan and Bilaspur have been particularly hard hit, with reports of extremely heavy downpours.
