Delhi-NCR Soaked by Heavy Rainfall: IMD Issues Red Alert

IMD Upgrades Alert to Red

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) initially issued a yellow alert, which was later upgraded to a red alert in the evening as the intensity of the rainfall increased. The heavy downpour was accompanied by lightning and thunder, creating a dramatic spectacle in the night sky.
