Delhi Hit-and-Run: Drunk Audi Driver Injures Five Sleeping on Sidewalk

A shocking incident unfolded in the early hours of July 9th in Delhi’s Vasant Vihar, leaving five individuals injured, including two couples and an eight-year-old girl. They were sleeping on a footpath near Shiva Camp when an Audi driver, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, struck them and fled the scene.

Driver Apprehended and Confirmed Drunk

The driver, identified as 40-year-old Utsav Shekhar, was later apprehended by authorities. Medical reports confirmed his intoxicated state at the time of the incident, adding to the gravity of the situation.
