JDU Leader KC Tyagi Accuses Opposition of Pressuring Court Before SIR Hearing

In an exclusive statement, senior Janata Dal (United) leader KC Tyagi has accused the opposition of attempting to exert undue pressure on the Supreme Court ahead of the crucial hearing on the Special Investigation Report (SIR).

Tyagi Questions Timing of Opposition’s Actions

Mr. Tyagi expressed concern over the opposition’s decision to organize closures just a day before the scheduled Supreme Court hearing. He questioned the motives behind this move, suggesting it was a deliberate attempt to sway the court’s decision. “The Supreme Court hearing is tomorrow,” he stated, “and by organizing these closures right before, are they trying to influence the court?”

Is This an Attempt to Influence the Judiciary?

Tyagi’s statement raises serious questions about the propriety of the opposition’s tactics. The timing of the closures, so close to the hearing, inevitably gives the impression of an attempt to exert external pressure on the judiciary.
